Harrow Beauty's Paul Schattel recently
returned from Alaska, South Dakota and the great American city of
El Paso, TX (our new favorite town), shooting HD and SD for for several
government projects that will actually do some good. Working with
Rock Creek Productions and Two Feathers Media, Schattel shot and directed
for several months in the Great Plains, the Southwest and the Northwest.
Word to the wise: It gets hot in the desert. Bring a hat. Seriously,
it feels good to work on various pieces that actually will save lives
...
Other recent projects: An extensive
e-learning series for online training, a fun helicopter shoot (part
of an ongoing project for a Western North Carolina real estate company),
a documentary for the Robert Moog (yes, that Moog) Foundation, and
a rainy day's HD shoot in Gatlinburg (uhh, no comment).
Schattel also recently returned from
Bavaria, where he and several other talented shooters documented Volvo
Construction's North American Dealers Conference. Held in Salzburg,
Austria and Munich, Germany, the conference was held in conjunction
with BAUMA, the world's largest construction trade show. Can you say,
'big tractors'? It was a great time.
Harrow Beauty was recently asked to
produce and direct a pilot for the upcoming "Pet Detectives" series,
for the Discovery Network's "Animal Planet" channel.
Learn more about it in the NEWS
section!
Harrow Beauty's Paul Schattel has also
been busy directing and producing various segments of The Learning
Channel's Trading Spaces television show.
Philadelphia's Banyan Productions recently
hired Paul to oversee parts of the Asheville and Charlotte programs
shot recently in those cities.
Look for the episodes to air in early
December!
